Nutrisoda Invites Thirsty to Plant a Virtual Tree
Nutrisoda, a maker of nutrient-enhanced sparkling beverages, is once again partnering with non-profit organization Trees for the Future on its “Good Life” tour of West Coast festivals, colleges and retail spots this summer.
The sampling tour is a repeat performance for the partnership. Nutrisoda, a brand from the Ardea Beverage Co., first aligned with the reforestation charity last summer for a similar road trip.
The tour will offer consumers the chance to sample Nutrisoda’s eight flavors combining natural fruit flavors with added vitamins and nutrients.
Visitors to the traveling exhibit can also use an interactive application to “plant” a tree in a virtual 3-D forest. For every consumer who takes part in the virtual tree promotion, Nutrisoda will make a donation to Trees for the Future, which claims it has replaced nearly 50 million trees in Africa, Asia and Central America since its founding in 1988.
The events kicked off in Seattle during the last week of May with a Nutrisoda team traveling in a Toyota Highlander Hybrid co-branded with logos for both sponsors. The tour will visit fairs and festivals around Seattle through June and travel to parks, sports events and arts fairs in the Portland, OR, area in July. It will then swing down to visit college campuses in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego before Labor Day.
Nutrisoda’s flavors are available across the PepsiAmericas distribution network. Key markets for the company include Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis and Indianapolis.
